A 76 year old man presented with a nodule in the left lower lobe of the lung. Significant past medical history: previously resected colonic adenocarcinoma. A virtual slide and 7 static images (Papanicolaou-stained slides) of the direct smear of the fine needle aspirate of the lung nodule are provided.
