Jr. Medical Membership


Junior Medical Members are Entitled to:

Listing as Junior Member on the IAC website

Elevation to MIAC (medical membership) upon completion of speciality training if mandatory requirements are met

Mandatory Requirements

Junior Medical Membership is open to physicians in specialty training in anatomic pathology or other fields encompassing
at least two years of training in cytopathology.

Junior Medical Membership can be held for a maximum of 5 years.

You will also need one Member or Fellow of the academy to sponsor your application. If you have problems finding sponsors,
please contact the central office for assistance. Your sponsor will receive an  e-mail from the central office asking if they agree to support your application.

Applicants of IAC category of Junior Medical Member can submit the application form without payment of the application fee . The annual dues (Jan-Dec) of Euro 90 should be  paid. If an application is not approved the payment will be refunded.

How to Apply

Please complete and submit the form for approval by the Membership Committee

 

  • Copy of Medical Certificate/License
  • Your CV
  • Letter or formal document from your course director confirming your post-graduate training course.
  • Any publications
  • Passport sized photograph for internal use only (90 x 120 pixels, a simple headshot)
  • Sponsorship email of a Member or Fellow of the academy
  • The annual dues are 90 € (Jan-Dec). No application fee is necessary. Link to payment page

What Happens After Your Application

All applications are submitted to the Membership Committee for approval.

A ballot of new members is then presented to the Executive Council for endorsement 5 – 6 times a year.

Completion of the membership process can take up to 3 (three) months.
