1. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

As the sole owners of the information collected on this site from information that you have voluntarily given us via email or other direct contact; it will be collected and will not be passed to a third party unless necessary to provide a service that is expected as Member of the Academy.

This information will also be used to inform you of Academy matters or to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party, other than the journal publishers, outside of our organization, unless you request or give consent.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies which are text files stored on your computer to help analyse your use of the website.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activities for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. 2. With whom it is shared

We partner with another party (Publisher) to provide specific services. We will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Your address may be passed to the publishers of Academy literature for the purpose of fulfilling the membership requirements.

Unless you ask us not to, we will contact you via email in the future to tell you about meetings, events or educational matters or changes to the privacy policy.

We request information from you for membership payments which include the journal subscription and we require contact information (name, e-mail and postal address) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing and information purposes. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

3. How it can be corrected; your access to and control over information

You may request not to receive any notification of events from the Academy. You can do the following at any time by contacting the central office via the email address or phone number provided on our website.

You may request to see any data we have about you.

Change/correct any data we have about you.

Request us to delete any data we have about you. This data can be cancelled if there are no outstanding payments. Any form of membership will then be cancelled.

We take precautions to protect your information. We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
