Draft – IAC-ATP Trainee Application


IAC members are encouraged to apply for the IAC-ATP, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Potential applicants should read carefully and follow closely the terms and conditions of the program, the eligibility criteria, and the instructions on how and when to apply.


Applications should be submitted to the IAC Central Office using the form at the bottom of this page. Please read the criteria provided below carefully before sending off your application. Applications that do not meet the IAC criteria and guidelines will be rejected.

Applying to be a Trainee

Required Documents

  • An application form with the name of the IAC-ATC selected from the IAC list.
  • The application will specify duration and dates of the training period.
  • A letter of motivation describing how the newly gained knowledge and skills will be implemented at the home institution (one page).
  • A two-page document containing: first page with brief Curriculum Vitae or biosketch, and the second a scanned copy of the passport /National ID.
  • Confirmation letter from the Head/Training supervisor of the IAC-ATC.
  • A letter of recommendation from the home institution (his/her current position).
  • A letter from the International Academy of Cytology confirming that the applicant is a member.
