  • To implement the decisions of the strategy meeting in the educational area
  • Organize educational activities: tutorials, webinars, courses, e-learning
  • Participate in the scientific committee of the congresses
  • To collaborate directly with the International Cytopathology Examination Board and Cytotechnology Registry and Renewal Committee

Dr. Ashish Chandra, MIAC

Dr Ashish Chandra is the lead uropathologist and cytopathologist at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals, London where he has been based since 2001. He is a member of the Cytopathology Specialist Advisory Committee at RCPath, is an active member of the British Association of Cytopathology (BAC) and Deputy editor of the journal, Cytopathology.


Dr. Gary Tse, MIAC

Dr Tse is a professor in the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, Prince of Wales Hospital and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is the vice president for Asia for IAP, and the president of the Hong Kong Division of International Academy of Pathology. Dr. Tse has given many invited presentations, convened regional and international meetings and has published actively in breast pathology, and has published extensively.

Dr. Zubair Baloch, MIAC

Dr. Baloch is executive editor of Diagnostic Cytopathology and member of the editorial board of Cancer Cytopathology, Cytojournal, Endocrine Pathology and Journal of American Society of Cytopathology.
Dr. Baloch has served as the chair of ASCP and ASC annual meeting scientific program committee, member of USCAP education committee, ASC executive board, ASCP committee for continuing professional development, Papanicolaou Society scientific program committee, American Association of Endocrinologist thyroid nodule guideline task force and American Thyroid Association laboratory test committee.


Dr. Pamela Michlow, MIAC

Dr Pamela Michelow currently has a joint post at the University of the Witwatersrand and the National Health Laboratory Service, South Africa. She has continuing interests in visual literacy, the roles of exfoliative and aspiration biopsy cytology in under-resourced communities and in quality standards in cytopathology.


Dr. Wendy Raymond, FIAC

Dr. Wendy Raymond is an anatomical pathologist and cytopathologist in public and private practice in Adelaide, is Associate Professor in the School of Medicine, Flinders University of South Australia, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Cytology. She is currently Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Chair of the Breast Pathology Quality Assurance Committee and a member of the Cytopathology Advisory Committee.
