13. & 14. September 2024 Webinar: Liquid-based cytology in salivary gland neoplasms: a case-oriented discussion

Tuesday, June 18th 2024

Prof. Dr. Mark C.C CHEN, MD MSc FIAC

Ditmanson Medical Foundation Chia-Yi Christian Hospital

Summary of this IAC Webinar:
Cytological interpretation for salivary gland lesions is usually challenging. Besides, different preparation methods may provide different pros and cons in diagnosing. In this webinar, Dr. Mark CC Chen aims to share his liquid-based cytology (LBC) cases and provides a case-oriented discussion for your reference. Compared to conventional smears, LBC usually has a relatively clear or indistinct background (mucoid, inflammatory, etc.) but a better chance to prepare additional slides or cell blocks. Dr. Mark hopes that cytology friends/experts will respond to your valuable feedback and that we can expand our international collaboration/connections.
