CASE HISTORY:
44 year old female patient for vaginal check-up by her gynecologist. Status post total vaginal hysterectomy for uterine fibroids 4 months ago. Post-coital bleeding and vaginal spotting since a couple of weeks.
Clinically, a polypoid lesion of 2,5 cm in the vaginal cuff (Fig. 1), easily bleeding and painful upon touch, a vaginal smear and a biopsy are being taken.
